Software Engineer

The Xenotran Corporation (www.xenotran.com), a leading provider of digital communications and software defined radio solutions seeks an experienced, result-driven Lead Software Engineer. As a Xenotran Lead Software Engineer, you will be responsible for extending IBS CIB/IW waveform capabilities, defining and driving software releases, and Management Team to drive the completion of high-profile, quality projects on time and within budget. This position is responsible for all aspects of software development including architecture, programming standards, methods, team direction and management. Performance will be measured based on quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction. 

Candidates who have a demonstrated track record of success in leading software development and managing multiple development efforts and various teams are encouraged to apply. Successful candidates must be meticulous, organized and driven to generate measurable results.

Scope of Responsibility:

• Define deliverables and organize project teams to ensure deliverables are met on time.
• Balance and task project requirements against staff skills, experience and ability.
• Instigate and conduct customer follow-up discussions.
• Manage software project work flows.
• Prepare project plans.
• Provide technical and programmatic guidance to software teams. 
• Directly interface and report to the Xenotran Management Team.
• Participate hands-on in software development efforts

 

Education and Experience:

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or any other related field.
• 10+ years of solid software development experience and a strong background in communications protocols and embedded system development.
• Superior problem-solving skills
• Minimum of 3 years technical leadership experience and a successful track record managing software development teams.
• The candidate must be a US citizen. An active security clearance is highly desired.

 

 

Internal Telesales/BD

Xenotran, a government contractor, is seeking an aggressive individual with telesales experience to introduce and promote our services and capabilities. Someone to plant the “seeds” of who we are and what we offer.

Our engineering services include FPGA, VHDL, DSP, embedded, mod/demod, IF/RF, modem work, waveform development, channel modeling, simulation, validation, verification, bread board development and more. We develop components that our incorporated in wireless communications such as UHF satellite systems, CDMA, WiFi, WiMax, etc.

We are seeking someone who is experienced with rapport building, probing for needs, and who exhibits excellent phone etiquette.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

• Extensive outbound phone calling
• Identify contacts within target accounts
• Develop level understanding of company's services to facilitate qualification efforts
• Track all leads and outcome of calls

Education and Experience:

• Extensive outbound telesales experience promoting services
• Knowledge of sales tracking software such as Act, Goldmine, etc.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong work ethic and proven ability to work effectively in a changing environment
• Must be a US Citizen
